Notice of Professional Exam for Industrial Property Protection Representatives

Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina plans to organize professional exam for industrial property protection representatives during the month of June 2026. 

Registered candidates will be duly informed in writing about the exact date, time, and venue of the exam.

Interested persons are invited to submit their application for the professional exam to the Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kneza Domagoja bb, 88000 Mostar, with 10/04/2026 as closing date.

Application for the professional exam shall be submitted in writing and shall include: applicant’s full name, profession and address (preferably with a contact telephone number or email), the applicant’s JMBG (Unique Master Citizen Number), proof of completed university education (a certified copy of the diploma), and an indication of the type of professional exam for which the application is being submitted (patent representative exam or trademark representative exam).

For taking the professional exam, an administrative fee of 200.00 BAM and a procedural costs fee of 400.00 BAM shall be paid. Proof of payment shall be submitted no later than by taking the exam. The Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina will provide registered candidates with instructions on how to make the payments of the administrative fee and the procedural costs fee.

Professional exam for industrial property protection representatives is conducted in accordance with the Rulebook on the Professional Exam for Industrial Property Protection Representatives (“Official Gazette of BiH”, Nos. 22/11, 14/13, 36/16, and 12/20).
