The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the Institute for Intellectual Property (IIP) of Bosnia and Herzegovina prepared a joint practice paper in relation to the distinctiveness of three-dimensional marks (shape marks) containing verbal and/or figurative elements when the shape is not distinctive in itself.

Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina was presented at the fair through an information stand where visitors could get a complete overview of the activities of this institution and all information on the protection of intellectual property rights through brochures and promotional leaflets, as well as through conversations with the Institute's employees.
EPO Statistical Report 2024 Published
Companies and inventors from all over the world filed 199,264 patent applications with the EPO last year, which is on par with 2023 (-0.1%), following three years of significant growth.
