Banja Luka: Officials of the Institute held a lecture on the topic "Intellectual Property for Economic Entities"
Banja Luka, February 5, 2026 - Officials of the Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina held a lecture on the topic "Intellectual Property for Economic Entities", at a seminar held on February 5, 2026 in Banja Luka, in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska.
The participants of the seminar were presented with thematic units related to patents, trademarks, industrial designs and geographical indications, as well as the Intellectual Property Pre-Diagnostics service – a free service of the Institute for Intellectual Property of BiH intended for small and medium-sized enterprises.
During the seminar, the importance of intellectual property as one of the key, although "intangible" values of modern companies was emphasized, as well as the need for its adequate protection and continuous improvement in order to prevent potential abuse.
The seminar brought together representatives of economic entities, business support organizations, as well as other professionally interested participants, who had the opportunity to get acquainted with current issues and practical aspects of intellectual property protection.
The lecturers at the seminar were Irma Isak Gudelj, Head of the National Patent Department at the Institute for Intellectual Property of BiH, Irma Delibašić, National Trademark Officer and Goran Trifković, Expert Advisor for Industrial Design.
