DesignEuropa Awards 2025

The winners of the DesignEuropa Awards 2025 have been announced, marking another successful edition of the European Union Intellectual Property Office - EUIPO flagship initiative, which recognises excellence in industrial design and protection through the Registered European Union Design (REUD) system, the EUIPO announced.

Hosted in Copenhagen, one of Europe’s leading design capitals, the ceremony honoured designers and companies whose creativity, vision and innovation are shaping industries, improving lives and driving sustainable growth.

The winners of the DesignEuropa Awards 2025 are:

-          in the 'Entrepreneurs and Small Companies' category, the Overade Life helmet  (France), designed by Jérémy Pointel;

-          in the 'Industry' category, MONO cooker hood (Poland), designed by Mikolaj Nicer and manufactured by CIARKO;

-          in the 'Next Generation' category, the award went to David Borović-Ivanov (Romania);

-          and the 'Lifetime Achievement Award' to Hella Jongerius (Netherlands).

At a time where we have more and more choice as consumers, we choose products not only for their technical capabilities, but for their aesthetic innovation. That is why we’re proud to recognise both emerging talents and legendary designers like Hella Jongerius, emphasising our commitment to protecting and promoting of these innovative designs throughout Europe and beyond,“ said João Negrão, Executive Director of EUIPO.
