Notice of Professional Exam for Industrial Property Protection Representatives

Mostar, 26 August 2025 – The Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina plans to organize the professional examination for industrial property representatives during December 2025. Registered candidates will be duly informed in writing about the exact date, time, and venue of the examination.

Interested persons are invited to submit their application for the professional examination to the Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kneza Domagoja bb, 88000 Mostar, no later than 22 September 2025.

The application for the professional examination must be submitted in writing and must include: the applicant’s full name, profession and address (preferably with a contact telephone number or email), the applicant’s JMBG (Unique Master Citizen Number), proof of completed university education (a certified copy of the diploma), and an indication of the type of professional examination for which the application is being submitted (patent representative examination or trademark representative examination).

For taking the professional examination, an administrative fee of 200.00 BAM and a procedural costs fee of 400.00 BAM must be paid. Proof of payment must be submitted no later than upon sitting the examination. The Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina will provide registered candidates with instructions on how to make the payments of the administrative fee and the procedural costs fee.

The professional examination for industrial property representatives is conducted in accordance with the Rulebook on the Professional Examination for Industrial Property Representatives (“Official Gazette of BiH”, Nos. 22/11, 14/13, 36/16, and 12/20).
