Results of a public tender on the occasion of World Intellectual Property Day 2024

Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the project "EU Support for Intellectual Property Rights", conducted a public tender intended for BiH innovators to measure the compliance of their businesses with the Sustainable Development Goals

 

On the occasion of marking the World Intellectual Property Day, the Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the project "EU Support for Intellectual Property Rights" financed by the European Union, conducted a public tender intended for BiH innovators to measure the compliance of their businesses with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 

The Commission for evaluation of works, composed of employees of the Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has established the following ranking list of winning works: 

1. "The Most Beautiful Villages of Bosnia and Herzegovina - MBV of BiH" (submitter Boris Trogrančić, Association for the Development of Rural Tourism in BiH – Alterural);

2. "Application of safety algorithms in the database of civil sector innovators" (submitted by Ana Lojić - Association of Innovators of the City of Banja Luka);

3. BOTTLE – GLASS (applicant Borko Babalj - Association of Innovators of BiH).

The awards (three tablets) will be presented at the World Intellectual Property Day event on April 26, 2024 in Mostar.

World Intellectual Property Day is celebrated every year on 26 April with the aim of raising awareness of the role that intellectual property rights play in fostering innovation and creativity. This year, the focus is on the relationship between intellectual property and the Sustainable Development Goals under the slogan "Building our common future with innovation and creativity".
