Competition for the WIPO Global Awards underway
Geneva, January 16, 2023 – Competition for this year’s WIPO Global Awards for small and medium-sized enterprises is now underway and the application period is until March 31, 2023.
WIPO Global Awards competition is searching for exceptional small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) of creators, inventors, and designers, making smart use of intellectual property to achieve their business goals while also harnessing their innovation and creativity for the good of society.
The competition – free of any charge – is now open for self-nomination to SMEs from around the world and from all industries. Winners will receive personalized mentorship program to strengthen the use of IP rights to achieve new business goals, support to facilitate access to funding and business opportunities, travel to Geneva in July 2023 for the awards ceremony and participate in networking events, international promotion, recognition and visibility.

Small and medium-sized enterprises from China, Japan, the Netherlands and Singapore were the winners of the inaugural edition of WIPO’s Global Awards program last year, recognizing their exceptionality in using intellectual property to make a positive impact at home and abroad.
